MTV.com reports that TI may get released from jail earlier than expected do to good behavior and shaving almost 55 days off his initial sentence of One year and a day. Here’s the breakdown below:

Though he was sentenced to a year and a day, authorities said before his incarceration that he is eligible for a 15 percent “good time” credit, which could shave almost 55 days off his sentence. In that best-case scenario, he could be released in early April.

“He’s doing real good and he’s ready to come on home,” said Tiny, who expected that T.I. would be home “somewhere in the top of the year.” The rapper’s lawyer could not be reached at press time for comment on when he thought T.I. might be released.

Whats good? My cousin jason is locked up with t.i. and I wanted to drop a line so you could get it out to the world that T.i. is more than okay in prison. My cuz told me in the beginning he only had one fight but after that it has been smooth sailing and he has either made cool with all the others or spreads his money around so either way it’s all good. My cuz said one time he even let him use some of his phone time when his ran out and that overall Tip is a cool humble dude. Just let the people know that.

Well there you have it. I know a lot of people were wondering what it was gonna be like for the lilttle guy in there but sounds like it’s all panning out. Now I just worry about Lil Wayne…

Tiny recently gave an update to fans about how TIP is doing while on lock down and from the sound of it…everything is still business as usual.

Here’s what Tiny told www.allhiphop.com tip said about his current situation behind bars:

“I talk to him about a little of everything, just things going on. He hears things and we talk about it. He wants me to stay out the way, me being out of harm’s way. I know it’s a lot of crazy things going on so I try to stay in as much as possible because I don’t have him here. So I come out only when it’s necessary. I stay out the way. But he even said it was a terrible situation that AJ had to lose his life like that. Him not knowing the situation and what’s going on he really can’t speak on it.”

“He’s doing good. He’s passing the time by working out and just doing things they do inside, you know. He’s playing handball and things like that. I go see him every Sunday, sometimes on Mondays. We talk everyday. He gets emails, working out and doing things like that so he’s busy in there. He has a full schedule.”

Nice to see Tiny is holding TIP down while he’s locked up. A true ride or die chick.
